About Restorative Dentistry
When tooth decay or injury compromises a tooth’s structural integrity, a restoration is often needed to rebuild its natural form and restore its strength and function. In addition to having expertise in dental growth and development from infancy through adolescence, our pediatric dentists provide skilled care to restore baby and permanent teeth as needed.
Depending on the damage to the tooth, the extent of a cavity, if the dental nerve is involved, or if an infection is present, we’ll recommend what’s best for your child’s health and overall well-being. While many times all that’s needed is a white filling, sometimes a crown, nerve treatment, or an extraction (with or without space maintenance) is indicated.
